Paid Social Supervisor

The Paid Social Media Supervisor will help manage paid promotional efforts through social media. The Paid Social Media Supervisor is responsible for translating marketing objectives into paid social strategies and providing input into development of multi-channel media plans.

Along with establishing a strategy, the Paid Social Media Supervisor is responsible for setting up campaigns, day-to-day management, and optimization to support client goals.

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive integrated social planning process and thinking across client teams, strategy and product areas
  • Execute high profile, strategic paid social campaigns across multiple social networks including Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and more
  • Partners with a cross-functional team to execute large-scale paid social programs and social extension
  • Work closely with integrated media team to ensure seamless extensions and consistency across media types
  • Manage accounts effectively on a day-to-day basis
  • Stay up to date on social media trends, new platform evolutions and emerging tech
  • Maintain a high-level understanding of social ad specs, new/beta features and best practices for executing complex social ad campaigns
  • Troubleshoot technical issues at all stages of the campaign process, from implementation through execution and reporting
  • Monitor campaign performance and pacing and conduct performance analyses on a regular basis
  • Lead communication with internal and external teams around campaign performance
  • Deliver reporting and in-depth analysis to wider teams that provide clients with unique and actionable insights
  • Mentoring of all junior team members within the social specialty
  • Support wider team on key pieces of business

What We’re Looking For:

Education/experience

  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of paid social experience
  • Thorough understanding of paid social platforms and their roles

Specific skills, knowledge and abilities required and/or preferred

  • Well-developed interpersonal and team building skills
  • Effective written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to make decisions and resolve problems quickly and effectively
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively manage smooth flow of work through agency
  • Time management and the ability to determine priorities
  • Creative with and ability to drive innovation
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Budget management
  • Self-motivated and able to take the initiative
  • Very strong analytical skills and ability to mine large sets of data for actionable insights
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Attention to detail and precision data input, often under time pressure, is essential
