Elon University hires luquire for brand development, marketing strategy
Agency to work with North Carolina private university to implement pillars of 2030 strategic vision, to build awareness, strengthen reputation and boost national rankings.
We’re digging right in with Elon University, a mid-sized university with large-sized goals, to develop a new data-driven brand concept, platform, guidelines and identity, and corresponding communications strategy set to launch later this year. We’ll also lead public relations efforts for several initiatives the university will introduce this fall.
“We feel fortunate to have found a strategic partner who understands our university’s desire to pursue ambitious goals and has developed a communications roadmap that will help us not only to achieve those goals, but achieve them in an intentional, mission-driven way,” said Elon University Vice President of Communications and Marketing Mike Haskins.
Founded in 1889, Elon enrolls more than 7,100 students from 49 states and 51 countries and has gained national prominence for its engaged and experiential learning model, which provides students with the opportunity to pursue hands-on learning and prioritizes mentoring relationships. Elon leads the nation in the U.S. News & World Report rankings for teaching excellence and has been named one of the Top 10 “Best-Run Colleges” in the United States, according to the Princeton Review.
luquire will work closely with the Elon team on a host of brand marketing and communications initiatives to introduce and elevate the Elon University story among key audiences and help bring to life elements of the university’s “Boldly Elon” strategic plan, which seeks to sharply define Elon’s position as a top-100 national university.
“Since day one, the Elon team has been incredibly collaborative as we have set out to better understand their current state and future vision and has trusted our team to spearhead this strategic new chapter,” said luquire CEO Brooks Luquire. “It is clear to us that Elon walks the walk when it comes to shirking the status quo and reaching for the uncomfortably ambitious, and we are eager to reintroduce this bold university to the world.”
