Assistant Media Planner

The Assistant Media Planner role is responsible for supporting the team in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of integrated media campaigns.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with Media Planner(s) in developing and maintaining media plans  
  • Input buys into billing systems, traffic for digital buys, issue Insertion Orders 
  • Work through media invoice approvals and discrepancies 
  • Update team status documents 
  • Gather data to assist in the development of media plans, including organizing RFP responses from media vendors and assist in analyzing proposals and partner negotiations 
  • Assist in compiling monthly reporting documents, media flowchart updates and media recommendation decks 
  • Monitor buys to ensure proper execution and pacing 
  • Perform QA process post launch and gather screenshots of media in market 
  • Compile campaign performance metrics for ongoing campaign reporting deliverables 
  • Set up meetings with media vendors for media team to stay up to date on latest offerings 
  • Assist in budget reporting, flowchart development, status report writing, invoice clearing and payment approval

What We’re Looking For:

Education/experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • No agency experience required
  • At least one year of relevant experience strongly preferred

Specific skills, knowledge and abilities required and/or preferred

  • Ability to work on several projects at once 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Proficient in Power Point 
  • Advanced Word, Excel and writing skills 
  • Comfortable working with large data sets and pivot charts 
  • A desire to learn new things 
  • Passion to collaborate in a creative environment
