Bojangles Campaign Claims Two PR Daily Agency Awards

Luquire’s tasty campaign for Bojangles’ new chicken sandwich earned top honors in the PR Daily Agency Awards for the product launch and consumer categories

Luquire’s PR launch of Bojangles’ entry in the chicken sandwich wars has claimed top honors in the PR Daily Agency Awards, earning recognition in both the product launch and consumer categories. The competition sponsored by PR Daily, one of the leading voices in the public relations industry, honors top agencies in the country and their outstanding work. 

Last year’s campaign to introduce Bo’s Chicken Sandwich was centered around an activation in New York City, hundreds of miles from the nearest Bojangles but in close proximity to scores of national media outlets. Through staged events across the city, we generated enough excitement to capture the attention of such top-flight outlets as The TODAY Show, Thrillist and Fox & Friends

The program, which was featured last year in both PR Daily and PR Week, was inspired by the countless Big Apple Bojangles fans who long for a taste of home. As thousands lined up in Times Square for a taste of the new sandwich, we scored more than 140 media placements with an estimated audience of nearly 800 million, along with dozens of hits among top influencers including The Bachelor star Matt James and CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones
