Firsts That Last film makes coveted One Show short list

On the heels of winning a Gold Adrian Award for excellence in travel marketing, work from our Firsts That Last campaign for Visit North Carolina has made the short list for one of the world’s premier creative accolades.

short film from the campaign — which tells the moving story of a mother and daughter from Ohio experiencing the ocean for the first time — has advanced to final judging in The One Show, one of the industry’s top awards competitions.

Presented annually by The One Club for Creativity, The One Show “represents the creativity of big ideas paired with quality execution.” More than 23,000 entries were submitted in 2018 but only slightly more than 1 percent received the coveted Gold, Silver and Bronze Pencils that are the hallmark of this esteemed competition.

The One Show 2019 finalists will be announced in April leading up to The One Show awards ceremonies in May 8 during  Creative Week in New York.
