LGA selects four nonprofits for Goodstock 2018

LGA staff will stay up all night long to provide free advertising, public relations, digital and creative services to four Charlotte-area nonprofits during the agency’s annual Goodstock™, a 24-hour pro bono marketing marathon, slated for Thursday, Sept. 20 through Friday, Sept 21. Since 2009, LGA has donated more than $1 million in services to 38 area nonprofits during Goodstock.

The four nonprofits selected for Goodstock 2018 are:

Charlotte Housing Authority Scholarship Fund

Makes certain that every child living in public housing has the opportunity for and expectation of a college education through mentoring, scholarships, life / study workshops and internships.

Florence Crittenton Services of North Carolina

Promotes health and hope for tomorrow’s children by providing comprehensive health, educational and social services for single pregnant and non-pregnant adolescents and women, and their families.

Time Out Youth

Supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ) youth by offering vital programs, fostering unconditional acceptance and creating safe spaces for self-expression.

Zabs Place

A thrift boutique that provides training and employment opportunities to young adults with special (needs) talents.
