Brooks Luquire Named to Business NC’s 2022 Power List

Recently appointed CEO spotlighted in annual list of North Carolina leaders making waves in their industries 

Brooks Luquire, who took the helm as CEO of Luquire last December, was named to North Carolina Business Magazine’s 2022 Power List honoring North Carolina’s most prominent leaders. Business North Carolina is one of the state’s top business magazines, covering emerging trends, influential people and leading organizations that drive North Carolina’s economy. The publication’s annual Power List highlights the state’s most admired leaders in a variety of industries. 

Luquire was spotlighted in the Professional Services category among other top leaders from industries like accounting, architecture, engineering and marketing that “handle the nitty-gritty work that makes the business world fly,” according to Business NC. In his feature, Brooks cited hugs from his family as his biggest workday motivation and Plaza Midwood as his favorite spot to entertain out-of-towners. 

Brooks stepped into his role as CEO in December 2021 after nearly 13 years with the agency, most recently serving as senior vice president and director of client engagement. In just six months he has accelerated the company’s business development efforts, recently adding two major players – OrthoCarolina and Simon Property Group – to the agency’s portfolio, all while overseeing talent acquisition and day-to-day operations.
