PURPLE Campaign Claims Top AAF Award

We’re proud to have earned top honors at this year’s American Advertising Awards conducted by AAF Charlotte. “If Your Walls Could Talk,” developed for longtime LGA client National Gypsum Company’s PURPLE® drywall, claimed Best in Show in the competition, along with Gold awards in the Social Media Campaign, Art Direction and Cross-Platform Campaign categories.

Bojangles’ “All-Star Biscuit Makers” also won big, receiving a special Judge’s Choice award as well as Gold recognition in the Out of Home category. Also garnering honors were the “Dog Travel Agent” campaign for Visit North Carolina, which won Silver awards in the Social Media Campaign and Cross-Platform Campaign categories; and Tire Pros’ “Flat Tire Event,” which earned a Silver award for Social Media Single Execution.

“It’s really rewarding to see such a diverse body of work achieve this level of recognition,” said LGA Chief Creative Officer Glen Hilzinger. “It’s a testament to the curiosity that drives us to develop groundbreaking ideas, and to the deep partnerships we’ve developed with clients who trust us to lead them into uncharted waters.”

The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, aimed at recognizing and rewarding the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising. AAF Charlotte brought in three top-tier creatives to judge this year’s competition: Los Angeles Director/Producer Art Haynie; Jennifer Hohn, Chief Creative Officer of Denver’s defyThemAll; and Harry Román-Torres, Head of Strategy at Droga5 in New York.
