Luquire Helps Welcome Honeywell to Charlotte

Charlotte is hot. Not just the unexpectedly high early October temperatures. Charlotte is one of the fastest-growing cities in America, as evidenced by all the new construction throughout the area. 

Luquire has long been involved with some of the region’s leading developments, but we still get goosebumps helping to introduce signature buildings that will redefine the landscape – and the skyline – of the Queen City. 

That’s precisely what happened on Oct. 3, when North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper, Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles and other VIPs joined our longtime client Lincoln Harris for the groundbreaking of the new corporate headquarters for Fortune 100 company Honeywell. 

The event signaled the formal arrival of the global company, which is relocating its headquarters from New Jersey. Honeywell will be the only office tenant in the 23-story tower at Lincoln Harris’ Legacy Union, a dynamic mixed-use development transforming 10 acres of Uptown Charlotte right next to Bank of America Stadium.
