Luquire Names Stephanie Spicer and Glen Hilzinger as Partners

Integrated marketing agency Luquire today announced that President Stephanie Spicer and Chief Creative Officer Glen Hilzinger have been named partners in the firm, joining co-founder and Chairman Steve Luquire and his son, CEO Brooks Luquire, as equity owners. Details were not disclosed.

The move comes on the heels of one of the 39-year-old agency’s most successful years ever, thanks to several new account wins and solid organic growth from existing clients that led to a commensurate increase in employee headcount.

“Last year was incredibly rewarding, and 2023 is already shaping up to set new standards for our firm in terms of the work we’re producing, the culture we’re building and the clients we have the privilege to serve,” said Brooks Luquire, who became the agency’s CEO in December 2021. “Glen and Stephanie have had a lot to do with our success, and my dad and I are excited to welcome them as partners because we think it’s incredibly valuable to have owners whose daily work is singularly focused on our purpose as a company: helping clients win.”

Spicer joined Luquire in 2012 and served as director of strategy before being named president in 2021. She continues to play a pivotal strategic role by providing thoughtful guidance to the agency’s clients, in addition to overseeing all of the agency’s service offerings including creative development, media strategy and execution, public relations, digital development, analytics, social media and content creation.

“I’m excited by the growth and momentum our agency is experiencing, building upon our nearly four decades of success by nudging clients outside their comfort zone and helping them achieve their most ambitious goals,” said Spicer. “With several new clients and an infusion of top talent from across the country, our future has never been brighter.”

Hilzinger came to Luquire in 2019 from Detroit, where he worked with such renowned agencies as Leo Burnett, Doner Advertising and J. Walter Thompson. Recognized as one of the world’s top 10 copywriters by Ad Age’s Creativity, Hilzinger has transformed Luquire’s approach to creative work, earning numerous awards and new client opportunities with smart, captivating and memorable campaigns for the agency’s such clients.

“I came here four years ago because, after years of working for big agencies focused on their shareholders, I was drawn to Luquire’s commitment to helping clients succeed,” added Hilzinger. “That’s our North Star for everything we do, but I’m especially proud of the way we’ve applied that philosophy to produce the kind of work that moves clients outside their comfort zone and ultimately helps them achieve their most ambitious goals.”
