Two Luquire Projects Net National Acclaim

If you’re only as good as the company you keep, Luquire continues to prove we can hang with the advertising industry giants. The agency has recently been recognized in not one, but two national award shows that ultimately led to five top awards for the company’s work last year.

Bojangles “All-Star Biscuit Makers” received a Gold award in the Out of Home category at the AAF National Award Show, the advertising industry’s largest and most prestigious competition. The Out of Home Advertising Association also recently awarded the billboard with a Silver OBIE in the Food & Beverage category and a Bronze OBIE for custom installation based on the fog that burst above the board to represent the flour the All-Star Biscuit Maker tosses into the air.

Additionally, “If Your Walls Could Talk,” developed for long-time client National Gypsum Company’s PURPLEÒ drywall, won two Silver awards in the Social Media and Art Direction categories at the AAF National Award Show.

Both Luquire recipients went up against the best of the best throughout the country with nearly 30,000 entries at local and regional levels throughout all AAF chapters. There were 700 national finalists and 157 awards. We couldn’t be prouder to bring three of those home to Charlotte – plus the two OBIEs from last month. When we’re back in the office, we’ll have some new hardware in the trophy case.
